Listening for the Still, Small Voice of God

Stevie Wonder: The daily writing prompt was to name the most famous or infamous person I have ever met. Only one famous person and he is Stevie Wonder. I met him at a Christian rehab in 1996. His 2nd cousin was there in rehab and he came to visit. While there, he performed for the residents and being a staff member at the time, I was able to spend a little time with him and of course, a picture was taken of us. A small Alabama town where treatment was absolutely free of charge was the place this occurred. So, you never know what God might put in front of you in the least possible places. Who would have ever guessed that Stevie Wonder would take the time to travel to a small town and associate with us commoners, lol. BTW, he is the most down to earth person you could meet. No different than you or myself.

He taught me a lesson early in life. That lesson being we are all God’s children, none better, none less than. We all have the same feelings, dreams, and tragedies that others have. The difference is what will you do with them? Remember, it is not the final destination that matters most. It is the journey getting there and the wisdom acquired while doing so. This makes you the best you can be or the worst you can be. The choice is up to you.
