When God Speaks

One day we will travel to the next ‘phase’ of us. What does that entail? Do we immediately go to heaven or hell after here? do we sleep until Jesus comes on the clouds? Is there a place where we have a second shot at life if failed the test here? Do we remember those left here? These are questions that we should have answered or at least know we will be in the good group. Yet, no one knows because no one has ever died and came back except, of course, Jesus. So, where are the answers? Or do you just have more questions? Some say the Spirit world and this world collide at times. Some say this is not true. Lately, I have wondered if we just continue being and growing but at some other place. An extension, so to speak, of oneself. Something to give thought to.

The Bible tells us, depending on who is quoting it that it is appointed once for man to die, then judgement. My translation of this is once we die and we all will, then we are judged and either take our seat in heaven or in hell. It is also said that we shall sleep til the end of times has reached its end. Then, judgement. Well, I don’t have an absolute on this, but I do believe our being continues. Just where, when and how I am not sure about. But, I don’t have to be sure as long as I know God, obey Him, ask forgiveness and turn down another path following Him. He will teach me if I let Him. He will direct me if I will let Him. He will save me if I believe in Him. So, all the questions that bombard us at times do not really matter as long as I know Him, hear Him and walk His way through life. Yes, I want answers sometimes, but one day I will have them and in the interim, I wait. Be blessed.
