The Heart of the Matter:

We all think having more is better, at least for a while. Then, more takes over and usually greed sets in. The truth of the matter is we have bought into the lie. We are tied down to more. Always keeping watch that we still have more and also while accumulating more. Stress is our constant companion.

We have become blind to this bondage and it becomes second nature. More and more stressed we become yet refuse to look at the truth. More is stressing us out.

My clutter release would be in the areas of stopping online shopping. As ads pop up I can tell you why I need this or that and in every color and shape if you will, but in reality I will never use it. With barely a thought as impulsiveness takes over I have put it in my cart and heading to the checkout. That is if something else doesn’t catch my eye first and it usually does, so now I have more clutter to hide. Hide from my husband, that is. Have you ever hidden something from your spouse? The thing is if you have to hide it then there is a problem. A big problem. Only hidden things are dark and a lie. Light does not hide. Light is open to be seen by all because Light is truth. Hidden things are dark and create more wrongdoing because they come with a cost usually lies. So, if you ever feel as though you must hide things just know it is wrong.

Clutter, literally would decrease because the items hidden would disappear and would take their companion, fear, along with them. Less clutter, less stress. All is in the light. Fear of being found out is a burden not necessary.

I would be free to be myself by not wondering if my lie might be exposed. Feeling like a hypocrite, preaching the very thing I am playing with. All my good intentions and deeds done for naught. At least in my mind.

So, reduction of clutter in my mind would release me to be a better woman walking in the light. The heart of the matter is that clutter has to go.
