It’s Not All About the Benjamin’s:

Growing up I envisioned myself as an attorney or as a psychiatrist. I have always loved a good debate and love just as much counseling others. I guess one could look at this as if I think I am always right. Well, I do think that and am right, lol.

Seriously though I cannot remember a time when I wanted to be anything other than one of these two professions. Did that happen? No, at least not in the sense where I have a college degree, but I still counsel people without using the word counsel and I still go to bat for those friends or family members that have a mild and soft voice. Most times, the only way something gets resolved is by using big words with tones in line with the situation. So, my dream job I guess I can say I do practice today. Just not much money in it without a degree. But, sometimes it isn’t all about the benjamin’s. It is more about helping others out in times of need. That’s what I do.

I would call both of these professions a People’s Advocate so there you have it – The People’s Advocate is my dream job and I have been studying since 1990. It shouldn’t be too much longer before I can place a framed degree on my office wall, lol. Until then, all services free…
