Fools Rush In: Part 1

There is a saying that goes, ‘to every story there are two sides’. Most folks only hear one side of a story and make judgement based on that one side. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 18:17, ‘The first to present his case seems right til another comes along and examines it’. When we hear both sides of an argument, we can sift out the junk a lot easier. However, most have this thing where they jump on the bandwagon of the one they like or know instead of being a true friend and not rushing to judgement until the whole story is told. They don’t realize that they are hurting that person by giving them the green light to harbor bitterness and anger that only grows bigger each day. Real love or friendship tells them truth. Let that go, forgive that person and maybe even telling them to look at themselves. You see, while a person may have been hurt by actions of another, God never deals with someone elses stuff in you. He is always trying to show us something about ourselves not others, no matter what the offense. Yet, we fail to see this til much later if ever. Wasting times together that could be wonderful while walking around carrying bitterness and anger that were never meant for us to carry. This is where fools rush in….
