Creativity comes in many different forms. It is defined as ‘the use of the imagination or original ideas’. With this being said I am creative in several ways.
One is decorating a house or place to live. Rooms in my home each have their own theme, yet the overall outcome seems to smoothly run together. I am not big on matchy matchy. In fact, I throw any color I like in the mix, any shape, any fabric, etc. The more variety, the better and believe it or not, it works and works well. With everything matching I get bored so I shake things up.
Another area of my creativity is in writing. God has gifted me with a love of reading and writing. The words just flow. I can take any question or statement and write about it in 15 minutes or less. I love coming up with titles or coming up with logos.
This last one I rarely do because I’m not a fan of cooking, but I can if I have to is to prepare meals. I come up with dishes by using what I have on hand. The secret is _______. Well, I can’t disclose it for then it wouldn’t be a secret, right? But, trust me I can do it.
We are all creative people. It just takes letting your imagination flow and then going with it. Don’t be afraid, just do it. The best inventions came about after many failures. The key? Don’t quit. Do it afraid.
