The prompt is to list five things I do for fun. Well, that list changes daily because there are times that I unknowingly have fun where I least expect it. An example would be playing a prank on someone. Of course, I didn’t preplan this prank. Opportunity just presented itself and how fun it was. To see another’s surprise, fear, or whatever it may be always gets a laugh from me.
Every day there are so many opportunities available to us if we would just search. Not only in fun, but with anything. The problem is we have become a society that expects things to happen without any effort on our part. …and at times this might occur, but if we want the best to come our way then we have a part to play in this. Be alert, seek, search, get out of the ‘me’ zone and be patient are a few of the things we can do to help opportunity along so that we gain the best and have fun doing it.
But, today my list is comprised of making crafts, playing games, reading and studying the Word of God, teaching a child something, and believe it or not, I enjoy cleaning so add that to the list. All of these things get my mind off me and enable me to enjoy what some may call work. My fun is allowing opportunity to show up.
