The Right Thing

What is right? What is wrong? Better yet, what is the right thing to do? Or, what is the wrong thing? Sometimes the answer may not be easy. How does one decide what is right and what is wrong? Not a lot, but at times the answer may not be so easy to find. Different senarios can have different answers for different people. What may be right for you may not be right for another. What may be wrong for you may not be wrong for another. Quite complicated at times. But…

Here is the answer. ‘It’s not hard to do the right thing; in fact, it’s easy. What’s hard is knowing what the right thing to do is. But, once you know what the right thing is and believe it, doing the right thing is easy’.

This made a lot of sense to me. Only because we all have different paths to take and on these paths right and wrong may change. So, the first thing to ask is what is the right thing to do? Not what is right and what is wrong with the question, but what is the right thing to do in spite of the scenario or question. The right thing for you, for the other, for all involved and the answer will be right for all involved. Not just you. Not just the other. Not just everyone else, but for all it will be right. No motives. No being biased. No trying to make another feel better. But, regardless the right thing answers to all. Some may not be happy. Some may be happy. The right thing sees down the road and works out for the better for all.

So, when faced with doing what is right, speak out loud the above quote and let wisdom intervene.
