When God Speaks

May I ask you a question? Please take time to think about it. Who is the lover of your soul? The one who loves you in spite of yourself? The one that patiently pursues you, refusing to give up? The one who though you dis him at times, still loves you more than anyone?

Do you know Him? Regardless whether you know Him or not, He knows you better than you know yourself. He created you. He thought of you before you were even in the womb. He planned for you. He wanted you and He will pursue you til the end of time hoping you will come to Him. He is the lover of your soul. No one else comes close.

Although many deny Him or act as if they don’t know Him, I beg to differ. Somewhere deep inside you know Him. Maybe not as you should, but you know He is there. He speaks to you in the quietest moments where only you can hear. He shows you things to let you know He is there. You cannot deny this for even now He speaks to you. Waiting patiently for you to come. Come to the place of safety, the place of love, the place of peace. Come to your Father, the place you are meant to be.

The lover of our souls desires a relationship with you. He knows you are His. Maybe you got off the path somewhere and now seem lost. Finding our way back can be scary. We have been away so long that at times it seems like a dream, but it is not a dream. It is real and fear is liar. All we have to do is call out to Him. He does the rest. Don’t put it off any longer. Call out His name – Jesus. Then rest in your Daddy’s arms for you have come home.
