The passage of time makes all do a double take on life. We realize as each day goes by that the end is nearer. This realization can be frightening. It can be joyful. It depends on where you are in life as to which it will be for you.
It should make all of us do better. Straighten out our messes, turn things around or whatever is needed to feel confident. Those who believe in an afterlife should really take notice. I do believe so the passage of time should make no difference to me except being happier. If I’m doing the right things. The passage of time should excite all who believe, but the question is, ‘Do you really believe?’ I think if we truly did all would do right. So, why do we not?
Maybe you feel you have time. You will change tomorrow? Maybe you just cannot get your flesh under control? Try harder. It can be done if the Spirit of God lives within. Maybe you just are not ready to let some things go? That is a choice only you can make and I would suggest to make the right choice. We are not promised tomorrow- only today. Don’t bet on tomorrow. It may not come.
