God speaks to us in many different ways and at different times. No one has the know all book to how God speaks to you, except you. He speaks through nature, through circumstances, through other people, but mainly He speaks through His Word. In order to hear Him, you must become familiar with His language which is the Word of God. In earlier times, before the Holy Spirit came, people had to depend on the prophets and priests to understand God speaking. No longer is that the case. As I John 2:27 tells us, ‘But the anointing which you have received of Him remains in you so that you need no man teach you. But, the Holy Spirit will teach you all things’. So, get intimate with His Word and you will hear God speak. If not, you will be easily deceived. Know God, know His Word, be romanced by the lover of your soul.
