When God Speaks

Who would not answer yes to this question, but unfortunately you will not be afforded more time. Of course, I, too, would love to have more time. I watched my father die and my mother as well wishing they had more time. They did not. Their time was up. And so will yours be at that time. The only suggestion I have for anyone is do what is right while the opportunity exists. Because when that time of opportunity passes, you are not guaranteed another chance or re- do. You will only look back on that time with regret if you did not do what you should have.

My Mom used to tell me ‘When you get old, the past will come back to sit with you’. This is so true, but until it happens to you it is not understood. I will explain now that I understand for the past has come back to sit with me.

All regrets or should have moments in your life will invade your being. You will look at those times with regret for not doing what is right. There is no escape from these times. They just sit with you while you wish with everything in you that you could reverse the choice or change the outcome. You cannot. So, my advice to anyone needing more time is simply, ‘do what is right while the opportunity is present’. If you do this when the past does come back to sit with you and it will, good or bad, you will have no regrets and need no more time. Be blessed.
