The Greatest Gift:

Asked what is the greatest gift someone could give me is a simple answer because I have already received this gift. It is the gift of salvation. Jesus Christ gave me this gift and He never takes something back. Though I have yet to receive all the benefits of salvation, I know they are coming. So, simply said that is the greatest gift.

I will elaborate on this question and besides the gift of salvation I will answer the question in terms of a gift from another. The greatest gift someone could give me is love. Love has many benefits. If someone gives love they have given everything because that is what love does. Love gives all it has without motive.

To give love a person gives patience, kindness, and hope. Love is not arrogant or rude. Love does not insist on its own way. Love is not irritable or resentful. Love bears all things, believes all things, endures all things. Love rejoices with the truth and does nor rejoice with wrongdoing. The best part is love never ends. Love is always there.

So, you can see why love is the greatest gift one could receive. Have you been given the gift of love? Or should I say, have you received the gift of love? It is there, offered freely. Just accept it. Be blessed.

    The greatest, gift of mine, has been giving birth, to my son, and daughter, who are now 30, and 31. They just celebrated their birthday’s which were 7/11 of Dec. They’re both a year, and 4 days apart.

    Completely agree. Finding God and illustrating the guidelines which I would want to live my life by has provided me with a peace and purity that I would not relinquish for anything.

    We all all have been blessed with many gifts. First and foremost we have been Humans, not animals, birds, fishes, trees, stars, mountains etc. We have been blessed with a heart, liver, kidney, bowl system etc and eyes, ears, intelligent, intellect, mouth , hands, legs etc. we have been blessed with family, parents, siblings , spouce, offsprings etc. some are not given these blessings , but as a test of life many have not been given these. Everyones have different blessings and tests. But the greatest blessing one has been endowed with is recognizing their creator and worshipping Him alone without associating any partners with Him.
