There is something special about creating a piece of art. Whether it be a book, a song, a knic knac, a picture, or a sketch, when you are the Creator of such, it is special. The truth is We Are All Creators.
There are not many that use those creative juices within. They settle instead for jobs that offer some sort of assurance and stability meaning simply that a paycheck will be given to them weekly, bi-weekly or monthly in order for them to survive. The problem with this scenario is that most people hate what they do. Someone else is capitalizing on the work they do. So, what is the problem?
As always the problem is money or the lack thereof. It takes money to create something and the majority of folks don’t have this commodity or not enough to sustain them while creation is in the works. I believe 100% that if we all did what we enjoyed without worrying about money the word ‘work’ as we know it would cease to exist. When you enjoy something you don’t call it work.
If money were not an issue, I would concentrate on writing a book. But, the time it takes to do this, the research needed possibly and with the responsibility of others welfare on my shoulders this is quite a feat. An impossible feat. So, instead of doing what I enjoy and am passionate about, I go to a job daily that I despise in order to survive and the passion for something else, something that might just possibly change the world gets tucked away on the shelf and usually forgotten. How sad is this?
The answer? I don’t have it unfortunately. But, surely the answer is out there somewhere. Let’s try and find it.
