Before starting this post I want to be very clear on something. When I say ‘gods’ in this post referring to humans I write with a little g, not capital G. Only God that created us and all else gets the capital G. Mankind is with a little g for we are like Him, but not Him.
In the book of Genesis, chapter 11, humanity tried building a stairway to heaven. When God saw this He said, ‘Come, let us confuse their languages for since they are made in the image and likeness of God with one language they can achieve anything’. So, God confused their language and the work stopped. This is another reason I believe ‘speaking in tongues’ is a language of mankind, not a prayer language from God to God thus needing an interpretation at times so others not speaking that language may understand. Because before Babel all mankind spoke one language.
Moving on to the question of will mankind ever colonize Mars? With the above reasoning that mankind is made in likeness of God then absolutely do I believe that one day Mars will be colonized. Mankind can do anything that God allows. How will it look? That is a story for another day, but in brief I believe Mars will look similar to earth with a few differences here and there especially at the beginning. But, as tine moves on, Mars habitated will look more and more as Earth life does today.
